28 weeks

I am 28 weeks today. I saw my midwife this morning. They performed my glucose test and I am hoping to hear nothing back from them. No news is good news! Some thoughts (that I took from another friend's site):

• How far along? 28 weeks 0 days
• Total weight gain? I have no idea. Honestly, I don't. I don't think I had lost much from Kaedmon's pregnancy so I think I am at about a 10 pounds gain.
• How big is baby? The last I heard: 2 lbs. 6 ounces. That was a week ago so my guess now is between around 2 lbs. 12 oz.
• Maternity clothes? Pants, yes. Shirts, not so much. I try to buy non-maternity shirts that are extra long. They are cheaper and I can wear them post-baby.
• Stretch marks? None that are new. Just the same tiny ones at the very bottom of my tummy that seem to fade after the baby is born.
• Sleep? Joke. I can't sleep. It's been a few years since I slept through the night so I am not even referring to a lack of sleep. It's the quality I speak of. I haven't gone one single night of the past few months without vivid dreams and restlessness. I sleep sitting straight up most of the time or on one side. She kicks half the night and when she isn't kicking, I am peeing. If I am not peeing, another child is awake. I figure I'll sleep again when I'm 50.
• Movement? I don't think she ever stops.
• Food cravings? Soda. French fries. Nothing good for me.
• Labor signs? I hope not! Just the same achiness, pressure, and infrequent contractions. This pregnancy is very similar to my pregnancy with Sammy.
• Belly button in or out? Depends on her position, how much I am eating, and the position I am in.
• What I am looking forward to? Seeing what a King girl looks like.
• Milestone: For the first time in 5 pregnancies, I have varicose veins on the back of my knee. OUCH!!!!! I also begin my 3rd trimester today!!!

For all the skeptics...

who say:

Couponing isn't worth it.

It takes too much time.

I end up paying more because I buy more (just because I have a coupon).

Here you go:

5 packs of Earth's Best diapers for $1.50, the price of tax!

No- deals like this don't come all the time. When they do, however, I am so glad I am making the time to coupon each week.

Kaedmon

Precious!

Clara and Mommy, at 27 weeks.

I have an appointment and an ultrasound in the next week so I will update more then.

CVS Savings 12/27/09

Today I snagged:

3 packs peanut butter high protein South Beach bars
2 bottles Pantene
1 Gillette Fusion razor
1 (6 roll) pack Bounty
1 coldwater Tide
1 75 oz. Cascade
2 packs Act II microwave popcorn
1 frozen Red Baron pizza
1 small box Goldfish crackers
and 1 clearance cookies n cream Santa

for $30!!!

Pretty amazing, in my opinion...

Without sales and coupon savings, that would have been the price of the Tide, razor, and Bounty alone.
