Our baby is 10 weeks old (either fetal age or gestational age- I'm not sure) today. I am 10 weeks pregnant. We (as in David and I) are not pregnant. Call it a pet peeve. I loathe the expression "We're pregnant!" No, we're not. Moving on...Morning sickness stinks! To date, I am fairly functional in the mornings. I can accomplish a task or two before I need a nap by 10:00 a.m. Sadly, I'm not kidding. This baby has me thrown for a loop as far as cravings and aversions go. With all four previous pregnancies, I have craved pizza, mashed potatoes and gravy, fruit, fruit loops, and sour candy.
This pregnancy I crave:
- Bacon
- Soda
- Soup
- Ramen
- Long John Silvers
- Chocolate and peanut butter, namely Snickers and Reeses
I detest:
- Toothpaste (that's nothing new)
- Pizza
- Fruit-ish drinks
- Candy
- Turkey
- and much, much more.
Water is tolerable whereas it never was in the past.
Rolaids (as well as my retainer) make me heave (you wanted to know that, didn't you?)
I've only taken one phenergan the whole pregnancy (1/2 tab on two separate occasions).
My stomach is already huge. To be fair, it's not like I had much time to lose it after Kaedmon.
Alright. I'm tired after having taken 10 minutes to update. I think I'm going to bed.
You have every right to be tired...you're preggo and you are taking care of 5 others! I hope you begin to feel better SOON!
ReplyDeleteI think since all of your cravings are flip-flopped then you MUST be having a girl! But this is coming from someone who knows absolutely zilch about childbirth haha :)
ReplyDeletegood to know I'm not the only one this early on already in pregnancy clothes! :)
