One year ago

This time one year ago, I had just made my boys a back yard picnic lunch on what was a beautiful day- just like today.

Later that evening, contractions would begin and, 26 hours later, their sister would be born.

I am feeling very sentimental today as I would normally be pregnant- or almost pregnant- by this age.

I love being a mommy and I adore my daughter.

Elliana's Song

Each time I have been pregnant, I have thought about this song when I have thought about the possibility of having a daughter. I think it is such a beautiful song. For the first time a few days ago, I listened to it with Clara in my arms. I cried and thanked God, all the while praising Him for entrusting me with the enormous responsibility of raising a daughter.

Clara

I'm 2 months old. I weigh 12 1/2 pounds. My most recent accomplishment is sleeping 8 hours in a row at night. My favorite things are milk and Mommy.
